Today the word "eugenics" conjures up images, not of universal happiness and paradise-engineering, but the genocidal racial policies of the Third Reich. Early eugenics wasn't used to make everyone happier and healthier. Nazi race scientists aspired to breed a murderous master race of blond-haired blue-eyed Aryan supermen. It is currently fashionable to decu the Nietxgean influence oin Hitlers ; and cerrainly Nietx despised antisemitism. But Hitler regarded himself as the embodiment of the will to power and the quintessintial Nietschean Ubermensch.
